Welcome to the ICA Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science.

The ICA Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science was created to promote the essential role of Doctors of Chiropractic in the world of fitness and sports performance. We are committed to research, education and partnerships with sports federations and associations to solidify the Chiropractic role on the Sports Performance/Injuries team at all levels, and to create a platform for networking with other health, wellness & fitness professionals.

Our goals include:

  • Researching the roles of fitness and Chiropractic in maintaining optimal health and spinal balance in pursuit of athletic performance.
  • Disseminating the results of research findings and clinically relevant applications throughout our membership and to other members of the Sports Performance Team to strengthen the chiropractic position of the team.

We invite you to join us in our mission by becoming a member of the ICA Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science.

We’re taking chiropractic to the max!

For more than two decades, the ICA Council on Fitness & Sports Health Science has held its Annual Symposium on Natural Fitness & Sports in association with the Arnold Fitness & Sport Festival in Columbus, Ohio. The Governator is our keynote speaker each year and he always provides a ringing endorsement for chiropractic and fitness.
